Kim’s Story.
With over three decades in the classroom, Kim Bingham brings a deep well of wisdom, warmth and wholehearted care to his teaching. A lifelong educator with a background in music, a passion for people and a calm, reflective presence, Kim has dedicated his career to nurturing happy, thoughtful and well-rounded young people.
At The Peterborough School, where he’s taught for over 20 years, Kim plays a vital role in threading wellbeing into the everyday. From introducing the Triple WellBeing® cards to his Year 6 class, to creating quiet reflective corners in the playground, Kim’s approach is gentle, intentional and inclusive. He knows that some children speak up and others stay quiet, but all benefit when they’re given space to think, feel and simply be themselves.
Kim’s own wellbeing practice shows up in the quiet moments too. Whether it’s taking time to notice the world on his daily walks, reflecting in the car at a level crossing or choosing presence over distraction in the supermarket queue, he is living the ethos he teaches.
What shines through in everything Kim does is his belief in the importance of every child feeling seen, valued and safe to grow at their own pace, without pressure, without judgement. Just a deep and steady trust in who they are becoming.

“Wellbeing doesn’t need to be loud. It just needs to be real. A quiet moment. A kind word. A chance to feel you belong.”
