“I try and keep working on. Knowing that we can do this, we can find the common ground.”

Gail’s Story.
In a world that often feels fractured, Gail Singer offers a steady, deeply human presence. An educator, teacher-trainer and grandmother, Gail brings warmth, integrity and lifelong commitment to care: care for teachers, for children, for learning and for life itself. Based in Israel in the midst of a war, her work unfolds in a context shaped by conflict and complexity. Yet, even in the face of fear, sirens and uncertainty, she chooses empathy over despair.
Gail’s career has taken many forms, from curriculum designer to classroom teacher, college lecturer to national advisor, but the common thread has always been her devotion to people. She speaks of teaching English not as a subject, but as a way to explore life, build confidence and grow connection. She sees every student as a human being first and every teacher as someone worthy of support, encouragement and compassion.
Her journey with the Triple WellBeing Fellowship has deepened this approach. It hasn’t changed her, it’s affirmed who she already is. Gail now speaks proudly of self-care as a daily practice, not a reactive fix. She integrates wellbeing gently but powerfully through example, through presence, through reminding others (and herself) that it’s okay to rest, to reset, to say “this isn’t working” and to choose something different.
From supporting displaced students during wartime, to mentoring overwhelmed teachers through change, Gail’s story is a quiet act of resistance, a refusal to stop caring in a world that too often forgets how. Her leadership reminds us that wellbeing isn’t an add-on. It’s a way of being. And in Gail’s hands, it becomes a way of healing, too.

“The Triple WellBeing practices have really helped me focus more… not as something you need to learn in order to cope, but a way of life, something that’s just part of who I am.”
